ATCC Fetal Bovine Serum (500 mL)
Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) is triple filtered through 0.1 ?m filters. Each lot of fetal bovine serum is tested for sterility and for the ability to support the growth of several different cell lines using both sequential growth curves and plating efficiencies. Fetal bovine serum is manufactured from fetal bovine blood collected in USDA inspected-abattoirs located in the United States. This product is 500 mL. It has applications for cell culture, cell growth, and viability.

ATCC T98G; Glioblastoma Multiforme; Human (Homo sapiens)
T98G [T98-G] is a fibroblast-like cell that was isolated from the brain of a glioblastoma multiforme White, 61-year-old, male patient. This cell line was deposited by GH Stein and can be used in neuroscience research.

ATCC PSN-1; Pancreas Adenocarcinoma; Human (Homo sapiens)
PSN-1 is a cell line exhibiting epithelial-like morphology isolated from the pancreas of a patient with adenocarcinoma. After transplantation into nude mice the PSN1 cell line was established from the xenograft. PSN1 cells are unique in that amplification of both c-myc (50-fold) and activated c-Ki-ras (3-6 fold) with a point mutation from GGT to CGT at codon 12 are present in the same degree as in the original tumour and contain increased amounts of c-myc and c-Ki-ras transcripts. Loss of one of the two p53 alleles and a point mutation from AAG to CAG at codon 132 in the remaining allele was also observed in PSN1.

ATCC HMEC-1; Dermal Endothelium; Human (Homo sapiens)
HMEC-1 is an endothelial-like cell that was isolated from the endothelium of the foreskin of a male patient. This cell line was deposited by Kathryn Kellar, Ph. D. in 1990 and can be used in cardiovascular disease research.

ATCC KG-1; Myelogenous Leukemia; Human (Homo sapiens)
KG-1 is a lymphoblast-like cell that was isolated from the bone marrow of a 59-year-old, White male with acute myelogenous leukemia. The cell can be used in immune system disorders and immunology research. This cell produces high levels of human leukocyte interferon upon induction by paramyxoviridae species.

ATCC CTLL-2; T Lymphocyte; Mouse (Mus musculus)
CTLL-2 is a clone of cytotoxic T cells derived from a C57BL/6 mouse. The cells are dependent upon Interleukin-2 (IL-2) for growth and can be used to assay for IL-2.

ATCC Human respiratory; syncytial virus; Strain: B WV/14617/85
Human respiratory syncytial virus strain B WV/14617/85 is propagated in Vero cells (ATCC CCL-81). This viral strain was isolated in the secretion from the endotracheal tube of an infant with pneumonia and was deposited by the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. It has applications in respiratory disease research.

ATCC JeKo-1; Mantle Cell Lymphoma; Human (Homo sapiens)
The JeKo-1 mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) cell line was isolated from the peripheral blood mononuclear cells of a 78-year-old female with a large cell variant of MCL showing leukemic conversion. The JeKo-1 cells are highly tumorigenic in SCID mice and has applications for immunology research.
